Soundset Festival performing artist Wiz Khalifa released the free mixtape Kush & Orange Juice for download yesterday. The mixtape became the top trending topic on Twitter yesterday as a result of the release. You can read more about it over at MTV news.
In 2005 Wiz Khalifa released his first mixtape Prince of the City: Welcome To Pistolvania that mixtape was followed up by the release of his first full length album Show and Prove in 2006. Running off the success of Show and Prove Khalifa signed with Warner Brothers in 2007. His debut single “Say Yeah” received strong reviews and it had a successful run on the Billboard charts. Last fall Khalifa parted ways with Warner Brothers to pursue the release of his album “Deal or No Deal” independently.
